The story kicks off when Princess Peach gets sucked into a time portal. Turns out, the Mushroom Kingdom’s past is under attack by creepy aliens called the Shroobs. The Mario brothers, both past and present, team up to take down the Shroob menace, bouncing between timelines to solve puzzles and fight enemies.
Combat is turn-based, but it’s far from boring. Players control all four characters, using precise button presses for powerful attacks. Want to jump on an enemy? Tap the button at the right moment for extra damage. The game keeps battles fresh with clever mechanics like Bros. Items, letting players pull off flashy combo moves.
